New fetures gurntee much more simple opertion plce nd fog, reducing the mount of time needed to set up the mchine. An externl fn with one phse nd mx. 800 wtts cn be connected to the mchine. 2 Sfety instructions A fog mchine is not toy! 7.7 Sclding Hzrd. Very hot stem escpes from the nozzle. The method used here to produce fog, with device which works ccording to the vporizer principle, is the most hrmless one. No cse hs so fr been reported in which humn being hs been hrmed becuse of using our device to produce rtificil fog. However, this cn only be gurnteed if the professionl fog genertors re used ccordingly, i.e. t the correct vporiztion tempertures s well s with the correctly mixed fog fluid. Free from dusty or polluted ir. r Free from vibrtions. r Locted on n non-flmmble plce or surfce.. Well-ventilted with fog-free ir keeping the mbient operting temperture between 5o C nd 45o C nd the reltive ir humidity below B0%. 7.7 Ghnging the fluid continer. Disconnect the fluid tube from the lid by retrctrrg the brss collr nd removing the coupling o Remove the continer from the tnk housing of the CAPTAIN D. CASE. Unscrew the lid of the empty continer nd screw it onto the new continer.. Plce the full continer into the tirk housing.. Push the brss coupling intc tne brss collr until you her click.the brss collr is now locked firmlv. 7.7 Fog fluids The CAPTAIN D. CÄSE hs been designed to be used with fog fluids. o FAST-FOG Thick fog, very quickly dispersing.. SUPER-FOG Medium thick stndrd fog, long lsting. r HEAVY-FOG Thick fog, very long lsting.. DESIGNER-FOG Trnsprent fog, very long lsting, high light reflexion grde. Use only originl fog fluids. Other Fluids cn cuse considerble dmge to the unit nd void the wrrnty. You cn get more generl informtion bout fog fluids from your deler or directly. fog fluids is n enviromentlly sfe product nd it cn be recycled biologiclly. 7.7 Putting into opertion Connect to the mins supply. Mke sure the correct voltge is selected (230 V/50 Hz). A,,P" nd two figures pper on the disply like P 15. After wrm up time of pprox. seven minutes the CAPTAIN D. CASE is redy to strt. The green Redy-Led blinks if the working temperture is reched. As soon s the finl temperture is reched, the LED llumtes permnentlv. Adjusthe required output vi the control pnel nd press the Enterbutton ( see 5.'1) once to strt nd once to end the fogging process. issue I Pge: 6 v. l5

CASE is powerful fog genertor, producing every desired effect from tiny puff of smoke to the thickest fog. Digitl technology mkes fine djustments of the pump possible. In steps of 1% the output cn be djusted from 1-99%. 7.7 Control pnel CAPTAIN D. CASE. TIMER-LED, red o READY-LED, green o DMX IN-LED, yellow o MODE o UP/DOWN o ENTER 6 Switch of the device Press the Mode butten ffi til,,off'ppers on the dispry. After 15 seconds the mchine will switch off utomticlly. On the right bottom edge of the disply red deciml point pper. You cn lso switch off the mchine within these 15 seconds by pressing the Enter-button. When you switch off the DMX signl, the mchine will be switched off utomticlly fter 15 seconds. Plese note tht the Mode button is not designed to scroll between the different menus. lf you press the mode button longer thn 2 sec. the disply will chnge into the timer menue. issuelpge:7v.15

As soon s the mchine receives correct DMX signl, the yellow DMX{ED shines Now the pump nd the fn cn be djusted vi the desk. Plese note: lf fn is connected to the mchine, the CAPTAIN D. CASE uses two chnnels t your desk. Chnnel 1 = Pumo. Chnnel 2=Fn. Adjusting the DMX strt ddress Press the Mode-button on the LED disply ffi t the control pnel, until three figures will pper MM KffiT Adjusthe requested strt ddress by pressing the Up/Down-buttons. Sve the strt ddress by pressing the Enter-button once. The strt ddress will lso be sved when you disconnecthe mchine from the mins supply, Now the pump nd the fn cn be djusted vi the desk. CASE to n nlog desk or to the cble remote (vilble s n optionl extr), use the 3pin XLR socket t the bck of the mchine. Plese note: With nlog control the pump cn be djusted from the desk nd/ or the cble remote. The fn hs to be djusted directly t the mchine.. Connecthe cble from the desk or the cble remote into the XLR socket t the bck of the mchine. o The knob on the cble remote or the fder on the nlog desk will control the level of the pump.. Pressing the On/Off switch t the cble remote strts the fog process. To djust the fn output press the Mode-button until,,f" nd two figures pper on the disply. r Adjust the fn output with the Up/Down-buttons Control vi Rdio remote A rdio remote is vilble s n option. lt will be delivered with 3pin XLR plug. Connecthe receiver of the rdio remote to the mchine by using the 3pin XLR socket on the bck of the mchine. Adjust the requested pump output t the mchine (see point 6.3.3). Press the first button t the trnsmitter of the rdio remote s long s you wnt fog to be produced (see mnul,,rdio remote"). To strt the Timer-Mode, press the Mode-button for more thn 2 seconds. ffi The red Timer-LEDlghineg s soon s the mchine hs switched to the Timer-Mode. Aslong sthe timer is in opertion, the red Timer-LED blinks. (P.xx = Strts with wit time, F.xx = Strts with fog time). Pressing the Enter button will bring you bck to the stndrd menue where you strt the progrmming. You cn switch bck to the Stndrd-Menu by pressing the Mode-button for more thn 2 seconds or by switching to,,esc" (Escpe) in the Timer-Mode nd then press the Enter-button. 8A utostrt lf the timer is in opertion nd you disconnect the mchine from the mins cble, the CAPTAIN D. CASE will re-strt in the Timer-Mode s soon s it's reconnected to the mins. To stop this press the Mode-button for more thn 2 seconds or by switching to,,esc" in the Timer-Mode nd then press the Enter-button. 9 Clening, cre nd mintennce Ensure the ir vents re not clogged by dust. lf necessry remove the dust. Tke cre tht the mchine cn not get overheted. Do not run the CAPTAIN D. CÄSE without ny fluid, s the pump will run dry. Wipe up spiled Fluid immeditely. Moisture - lso fluid - cn destroy the electric of the mchine. Check the stte of the ir vlve filter from time to time nd clen or replce it when necessry. When frequently using the sme fluid cn it should be clened thoroughly before dding new fluid. This reduces the chnces of the mchine clogging up. lf you instll the CAPTAIN D. CASE mke 100% shure tht permnent fog-free ir supply for the unit is gurnteed. Cooling ir with too high fog concentrtion very often in Clubs nd Discos) cn condense inside the mchine nd cuse moisture dmge. For clening the surfce the device use suitble, solvent-free clener. 13 Cptin D. / Cptin D. Cse Operting lmstructions 10 Trouble-Shooting The CAPTAIN D. CASE does not fog. Check externl control signls. Check mins supply r Check fluid tnk (empty?). Check for correct connections t the fluid bottle. Check for fluid in the fluid tube. Check if fluid filter is clogged The CAPTAIN D. CASEfogs uncontrollbly o Gheck mins supply. Check unit for moisture (moisture inside the mchine, especilly on the PCB cn cuse fogging) The GAPTAIN D. CASE switches off suddenly r The,,Temperture cutout" hs switched off due to overheting. Remove externl het source (for instnce projector shining right onto the housing) nd/or mke shure sufficient fresh ir suppty. After 1S io 30 minutes the unit should switch bck to,,on" gin. Loud droning sound during fogging o The pump is running dry. Avoid this bsolutely! r Refillfluid bottle. Double check connection fluid tube nd fluid bottle' E-4 ppers on the LED disply. The mchine is getting too hot. The heting switches off nd the mchine cools down. Free of chrge, subjecto the following conditions (No. 2-6) we will repir ny defect or fult in the unit if it is cused by proven fctory fult nd hs been dvised immeditely fter ppernce nd within 24 month of delivery to the end user. Insignificnt devitions of the regulr production qulity does not gurntee replcement rights, nor do fults or defects cused by wter, by generlly bnorml environment conditions or Force Mjeure. 2. Gurntee Service will be done in the following wy: Fulty prts will be repired or replced (our chioce) with correct prts. Fulty units hve to be broughto us or our service centres or to be sent to us or our service centres t customer's expenses. The invoice nd/or receipt showing the purchse dte nd the seril number hs to come with the fulty unit, otherwise this will not be gurntee service. Replced prts become our property. 3. The customer looses ll rights for gurntee services, if ny repirs or djustments re not done to the units by unuthorized persons nd/or if spre prts re used which re nor pproved by us. The right of gurntee service is lso lost if fluids other thn Glycolwterbsed fluids hve been used or if units re sent to us with full fluid bottles. Aso non complince with the instructions this mnul or mistkes by incorrect hndling/ treting of the mchine will led to loss of gurntee nd lso ny fults nd dmges cused by undue force. 4. Certin prts of the mchine re,,consumble prts" nd re not covered by the wrrnty. 5. Gurntee services do not cuse n extension of the gurntee time or the strt of new gurntee time. The wrrnty for replced prts ends with the gurntee time of the whole unit. 6. lf defecvfult cn not be repired by us in stisfctory time, we will, within 6 months fter sle of the unit, on choice of the customer, either:. replce the whole unit for free or. refund the lesser vlue or. tke bck the whole unit nd refund the purchse price, but not more thn the usul mrket price t the time of the refund. 7.
