2 Andrea Martin Andrea Martin was brn in Prtland, Maine, and she is a tw-time Tny Awardwinning Bradway favrite, whse credits include Nises Off, Pippin, Yung Frankenstein, Oklahma!, Candide, and My Favrite Year, amng thers. She is als knwn fr her TV appearances n shws such as SCTV and Great News and films such as My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Martin attended Emersn Cllege in Bstn, Massachusetts, and was cast in a turing prductin f Yu re a Gd Man, Charlie Brwn fllwing graduatin. She mved t Trnt in 1970 and in 1978 jined the Stratfrd Festival cmpany, appearing in Candide and Private Lives with Dame Maggie Smith (the 2012 Stratfrd Festival Gala Hnree), Brian Bedfrd and Nichlas Pennell. During that decade, she wuld find wrk in a Canadian prductin f Gdspell, tw hrrr films (1973 s Cannibal Girls and 1974 s Black Christmas) and the ppular SCTV series. She wuld appear in a variety f rles in the cmedy sketch series (including Secnd City Televisin statin manager Edith Prickley) and was als a valued member f the writing team, wh racked up a grand ttal f nine Emmy Award nminatins in 1982 and 1983 (winning tw). Martin herself als earned an Emmy nminatin fr Outstanding Supprting Actress in a Cmedy r Variety r Music Series in Martin burst nt the Bradway stage in 1992, fficially making her Bradway debut in My Favrite Year, playing the rle f Alice Miller. Fr her shw-stealing perfrmance, she earned her first Tny Award, as well as a Drama Desk Award and a Theatre Wrld Award. Her next three Bradway utings wuld be rles in musical revivals, playing the Old Lady in Candide in the spring f 1997 and Aunt Eller in Oklahma! in the spring f 2002, earning a secnd and third Tny Award nminatin in the prcess; she then assumed the rle f Glde in Fiddler n the Rf. In 2007, she starred in Mel Brks musical cmedy Yung Frankenstein, receiving a furth Tny Award nminatin fr her prtrayal f Frau Blucher, and in the spring f 2009, she added a straight play t her Bradway résumé with the rle f Juliette in a revival f Exit the King. She returned t Bradway in 2013 in Pippin, resulting in her winning her secnd Tny and Drama Desk awards. She als starred in James Lapine s Act One fr Lincln Center Theatre in In 2015, Andrea made her Rundabut Theatre Cmpany debut in the Bradway revival f Michael Frayn s Nises Off and earned her sixth Tny Award nminatin fr her perfrmance as Dtty Otley. On screen, aside frm her wrk n SCTV, Martin has ntably appeared in recurring rles in such series as Rxie, The Martin Shrt Shw, Damn, Gerge and Martha, Wrking the Engels, and, mst recently, as Marilyn Kessler n Hulu s Difficult Peple, as Carl Wendelsn n NBC s Great News, and as Francesca Lvatelli n CBS The Gd Fight. Her many film credits include Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Prducers, Night at the Museum: Secret f the Tmb, and the rle f Aunt Vula in My Big Fat Greek Wedding and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.

In additin t husing the new theatre itself, the new Tm Pattersn Theatre Centre will als becme the hme fr activities in ur Frum, Labratry and educatin department, and will supprt sme f the key pillars f Artistic Directr Antni Cimlin and Executive Directr Anita Gaffney s visin fr the Festival. This $100M campaign, The Spirit f the Tent, is led by Hnrary Campaign Chair Michael Meighen and Campaign C-Chairs Ophelia Lazaridis and Dr. M. Lee Myers. The new Centre will pen in the spring f The Event The 2019 Stratfrd Festival Gala will be held in the Aria Ballrm at the Fur Seasns Htel, Trnt. The gala evening will include tributes, music and entertainment featuring Stratfrd Festival artists.
