1 NIIT Logotype The NIIT logotype is always preseted i a fixed cofiguratio. The desig of the logotype is based o a typeface called Egyptia. The letters N I I T has bee specially desiged ad letter-spaced. It must ever be rearraged or created i other typefaces. Every reproductio of the NIIT logotype should be clear, crisp ad udistorted from the origial desig. YOU MUST NEVER CREATE A NIIT LOGOTYPE THROUGH ANY SOFTWARE OR COMPUTER. THIS LOGO HAS BEEN DRAWN SPECIALLY. The NIIT logotype should ever be used smaller tha 9 mm i height.
2 Icorrect Uses of Compay Logotype The NIIT logotype has bee redesiged to give the compay a cosistet idetity. This meas that the ew solid versio has bee specially desiged ad crafted for clear reproductio ad will replace all other versios. Do ot use the compay logotype i outlie heceforth Do ot chage the appearace or shape of the compay logotype Do ot split ay elemet of the compay logotype Do ot use the compay logotype i a size that is ot specified i the maual. The smallest logotype size should be 9mm or more Do ot use the compay logotype as a desig device or elemet L I M I T E D Do ot use the word Limited uder the logotype
3 Colour Specificatios The NIIT logotype should always be produced i Coates EG-0786 NIIT Blue colour (offset), Copol NIIT Blue ES-2192 (scree) or Patoe 2935* dark blue. Colour is specifically created by NIIT thru Coates of Idia ad their list of dealers i the coutry is eclosed. The exceptio is dark, pattered or photographic backgrouds, i which the logotype ca be prited i reverse white. I reverse applicatios, the colour chose should provide sufficiet cotrast to the lototype, ad should ever be lighter tha 50% value of black. Colour Referece Coates EG-0786 (Ref. Patoe 2935) for Offset process (Gloss/Matt fiish) Colour Referece Coates ES-2192 for Silk scree process FOUR COLOUR PRINTING If you are uable to use the Coates EG-0786 colour the most priters ca be expected to reproduce a accurate colour versio by usig the four colour process. Coates EG ca be reasoably matched by usig a combiatio of 100% Cya ad 65% Mageta. A sufficiet umber of colour swatches are provided at the back of the maual. ONE COLOUR PRINTING The least expesive method of pritig is i oe colour oly. Where oly oe colour is available the colour selected should be either black or Coates EG or ES Patoe* 2935 (Dark Blue) is the closest match to Coates EG-0786/ES-2192.
4 Logotype Dimesios Wheever writig the logotype o a large mouted surface, please follow the diagram show here for the right proportio, spacig betwee letters, the thickess of lies ad their positio. Please keep the logotype i blue (Coates EG-0786) o a lighter backgroud. N N This grey area shows the miimum clear space required aroud logotype The miimum size of the logotype as show below should ot be smaller tha 9mm height of the letter N ad it ca go up by 3 mm stages i.e. 9, 12, 15, 18 or 21 mm etc. but wherever the sizes are predetermied ad fixed, it should be used oly at that size. 9 mm
5 What the priter eeds to prit the logotype What do you tell the priter whe producig your promotioal material. You will eed to give your priter all the details about the NIIT logotype, especially the fact that it ca ot be created o computer. GUIDELINES ON USING THE NIIT LOGOTYPE Either show them this guide whe you meet with them or give them a photocopy of this guide with actual colour swatches. A BROMIDE OF THE LOGOTYPE Cut out oe of the black ad white logotype foud i the pocket of this guide. PANTONE/COLOUR REFERENCES Give them oe square perforated coloured card foud i the pocket of this guide i.e. oe square of COATES EG-0786 blue colour.
6 Typography To complimet the NIIT logotype, the Rockwell family has bee chose for the typography for the corporate statioery items, i.e. compay ame, idividual s ame, desigatio, address lie, telephoe ad fax umbers ad address etc. It is recommeded that the compay ame should be used i Rockwell Bold caps ad lower case where as all the other address details should be i Rockwell light caps ad lower case face i the typesizes specified i the followig pages.
