When deciding if you are well enough to attend AADD events, please consider that AADD cannot diagnose illness or provide medical care during trips. *If you are going to be late or are cancelling the day of the trip, you must call Do Not Call the office on Friday evenings, Saturday or Sunday. *The agency will charge a fee of $35.00 for a member who is not picked up within 15 minutes after the end of the activity. Due to insurance regulations, staff may not drive members in their personal vehicles. It is in the interest of safety that the staff remains with the member until they are picked up. Sunday, July 1, 2018 Wizard of Dutch Apple Theatre We re off to see the Wizard! Join us for the Wizard of Oz at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theatre (510 Centerville Rd., Lancaster, PA 17601). Enjoy a great buffet lunch before the 1:15 p.m. performance. The bus will leave the Pavilion at 9:30 a.m. and the Main Line at 10:00 a.m. The bus will return to the Main Line at 5:30 p.m. and the Pavilion at 6:00 p.m. Cost of the Trip: $85.00 (includes lunch and show)) Thanks to support from Connelly Foundation Saturday, July 7 & Sunday, July 8, 2018 Saturday, July 14, & Sunday, July 15, 2018 Member Vacation No Trips Saturday, July 21, 2018 Pitman Theatre Join us for lunch at the Hibachi Grill (884 Delsea Drive North Glassboro, NJ 08028) followed by Chicago at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman (43 South Broadway, Pitman, NJ 08071). Set in the 1920's, this jazz soaked musical sizzles with timeless songs including "All That Jazz", "Class", "Cell Block Tango", and "Mr. Cellophane", among others. The bus will leave the Pavilion at 10:45 a.m. and the Main Line at 11:15 a.m. The bus will return to the Main Line at 5:30 p.m. and the Pavilion at 6:00 p.m. Cost of trip: $68.00 (includes lunch and show) Thanks to support from the Phillies Charities! Sunday, July 29, 2018 Lunch & Movie Tavern Join us at the Movie Tavern Flourtown (1844 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA 19031). Your lunch will be served to you at your table while you watch a first run movie. The bus will leave the Main Line at 10:30 a.m. and the Pavilion at 11:00 a.m. Matinee Movie TBA Return times TBA. Spread the Word Through Social Media By following us on social media, you will help spread information to your friends and followers about AADD. We are on Facebook and Twitter! (search for AADDPA) Install the GoodSearch Computer Toolbar Our new Association for Adults with Developmental Disabilities (AADD) toolbar is free to download and allows you to raise money for our cause every time you search or shop online! Once added to IE or Firefox, each time you shop at more than 1,300 stores (from Amazon to Zazzle!) a percentage of your purchase will automatically be donated to AADD - at no cost to you (and you may even save money as the toolbar provides coupons and deals as well).
