2 1612JacluonA au AttttArbor ~ Artistic Director ROGER WERTENBERGER Roger Wertenberger is a multi-talented man with broad experience in the theatre as well as in television and film_ His background includes proven ability as an artistic director, actor, musical director, conductor, composer, arranger, and set designer_ First active in Civic Theatre in 1961, Roger appeared in several shows, including Crucible, Pajama Game and Three Penny Opera. He has also appeared on stage for the U-M Players, Musket, Gilbert & Sullivan, and in many television productions. In addition to directing for the Ann Arbor Junior Theatre and the Comic Opera Guild, he has directed seven Gilbert & Sullivan shows and was the musical director of Musket's Camelot. For Civic Theatre, Roger has directed two studio productions -Angel Street and The Fantasticksand designed the sets for Hogan's Goat and Enzest In Love. He will return this coming winter as musical director for our production of Fiorello! Roger is a commercial photographer and the owner of Photo Services in the arcade. About tonight's show, Roger says: In this production we have chosen to challenge the audience to a game of "sleuth." All of the "crimes" will actually be carried out on stage. It will be possible, although we hope difficult, to deduce who the real villain is. And Then There Were None is one of Agatha Christie's most popular books, and in the late thirties, she adapted it into the play, Ten Little Indians. It's charm is not that it contains any new twists, but rather that it is the classic mystery. We are pleased to offer you the genuine article, the unencumbered model of mystery writing. Whether you find us out, or we keep you baffled to the end, we wish you an enjoyable evening of sleuthing and theatre. DOBSON ' M "OMBlll:R Careful Insurance since East Stadwm Blvd. Ann Arbor, Mich
