Have them make the mst it r audience enyment. Make that drastic ensemble dynamic change at bar 58, giving the best musical eect. Egytian Escaade by Dan iccl / 1: Iqa'at is the Arabic term r the many distinct rhythmic mdes that are utilized in Arabic musics. These rhythms are cmmn in the musics middle eastern cuntries such as Turkey, Jrdan, and Iraq, but are als und in Nrth Arican cuntries, esecially Egyt, which is cnsidered t be the rigin much middle eastern music. This iece incrrates ive cmmn rhythms that crrelate t the Western meter /. In writing this iece, I assigned the hand drum layer with the "skeletn" each rhythm, and the ther layers decrate that basic attern in a way that is tyical Arabic drumming. s: this art can be errmed n either a air hand drums (such as cngas r bngs), r n a single hand drum that has tw distinct tnes, such as a dembe. In either case, the layer shuld seek t rduce tw sunds that are as distinct as ssible. Snare Drum: this art shuld be layed with the snares, and the drum shuld be muted well. Bass Drum: the drum shuld be muted, almst like a kick drum. Ntes with "x" nteheads shuld be layed n the rim the drum with the shat the mallets r a multi stick. : The entire art shuld be errmed n a munted tamburine with snare drum sticks. inger Cymbals: An "" ver a nte indicates that the nte shuld be allwed t ring, while a "" indicates that the nte shuld be chked, such that the cymbals d nt ring.
