Imagine a grand ballroom with grand ceilings and chandeliers, guests with lowing ball gowns and daer suits. These are the images o Medieval Majesty. Rehearsal Notes: A sense o royalty and a round, broad tone is the goal or all musicians throughout this work. As a general rule, unmarked quavers (eighth notes) should be layed in a slightly searated manner throughout the work. Crotchets (quarter notes) also need to be searated but should be layed slightly longer in the melody at [17]. The crescendo on beat 4 o [2], and subsequent occurrences in the snare drum, needs to be brought out as it leads in to the next bar o the oening anare. About the Cooser: Richard is a Melbourne based music teacher and reelance musician. He studied at the University o Adelaide, graduating with a Bachelor o Music (Hons) in Jazz Perormance in Since moving to Melbourne, Richard has erormed as a reelance musician in a wide variety o styles and ensembles. Most notably, he was on the roster o truet layers or both Melbourne seasons o The Jersey Boys as well as numerous big band and cover bands. Richard has coosed and arranged works or big band, concert band as well as theatrical and orchestral erormance. Richard also has a assion or music education and is currently the senior music teacher at Penola Catholic College. A number o his ex-students continue their musical studies at a tertiary level, as well as working in the industry as erormers, coosers and arrangers. N.B.
