Dn t use liquid r sprayed detergent fr cleaning. Use misture sheet r clth fr cleaning. Befre pening the device, first switch it ff and then discnnect the pwer plug. Observe the specificatin in the user manual. The warranty will be invalidated if the device is damaged during the installatin r replacement f system expansins. Lay this equipment n a reliable surface when installed. A drp r fall culd cause injury. Make sure pwer adapter and pwer crd are placed in a way that peple cannt step n them. T avid incmmding reflexins at visual display wrkplaces this device must nt be placed in direct field f view. Lithium battery cautin: The Lithium battery (buttn cell) installed in the device may nly be replaced by authrised, specially trained persnnel. Cntact yur supplier r the manufacturer fr servicing and repairs. Danger f explsin if battery is incrrectly replaced. Dispse f used batteries accrding t the manufacturer s instructins. Excessive sund pressure frm ear-/headphnes can cause hearing damage/hearing lss. Adjustment f the vlume cntrl as well as the equalizer t ther settings than the centre psitin may increase the ear-/headphnes utput vltage and therefre the sund pressure level. The use f factrs influencing the ear-/headphnes utput ther than thse specified by the manufacturer (e.g. perating system, equalizer sftware, firmware, driver) may increase the ear-/headphnes utput vltage and therefre the sund pressure level. UL 62368: This equipment must be grunded. The pwer crd fr the equipment must nly be cnnected t scket-utlets prviding earthing cnnectin. Visit fr the latest prduct infrmatin and safety instructins updates. Specific Safety Instructins fr UD9: T avid damage r malfunctin, d nt use hard r abrasive bjects fr tuching the LCD mdule. D nt exert pressure n the LCD mdule. Use a sft dry clth withut chemicals fr cleaning, because the surface f plarizer is very sft and easily scratched. It is dangerus that misture cme int r cntacted the LCD mdule, because misture may damage LCD mdule when it is perating. If the liquid crystal material leaks frm the panel, it shuld be kept away frm the eyes r muth. In case f cntact with hands, skin r clthes, it has t be washed away thrughly with sap. 10 IGEL Technlgy GmbH WEEE and Battery Waste Nte In accrdance with EU directive 2012/19/EU n Waste Electrical and Electrnic Equipment (WEEE) and Directive 2006/66/EC fr waste batteries, custmers and manufacturers are respnsible fr returning and recycling their ld equipment and batteries. IGEL nw ffers a cnvenient return service. As f August 15, 2005, all IGEL Thin Clients sld bear the WEEE and battery waste seal. All Thin Clients labelled with this sticker are taken back and dispsed f immediately at n charge (including the battery). Fr IGEL custmers, this means better service and greater cnvenience, because IGEL Technlgy handles the prfessinal recycling f all Thin Clients (including the lithium battery). Reprt dispsal nline: Under the heading, Waste Management WEEE n the IGEL Hmepage ( there is an nline frm that must be filled in fr the ld IGEL units t be picked up. Such infrmatin as the address, series number, cntact persn, number f units t be remved and the desired dispsal date are urgently required fr the smth prcessing f waste. Pickup: Immediately after sending in yur data, yu will receive frm the IGEL Service Center a ntice f cnfirmatin f receipt. Then an IGEL service emplyee will cntact yu t arrange a date t pick up the unit. IGEL WEEE Number: DE / WEE/GE4266QU. This prduct cntains n pstcnsumer recycled plastic (0 %) and n renewable / bibased plastic materials (0 %). T activate yur PwerTerm license please fill ut the license activatin frm. Enter the ttal number and MAC addresses f the devices t be activated. The fllwing link prvides a step-bystep descriptin n hw t use the UMS t extract a list f MAC addresses fr a large number f devices: Yu will receive the required license keys via frm ur IGEL service team.
