3 Curtyard Theater GENERAL INFORMATION Plan Stages is cmprised f the Curtyard Theater, Cx Playhuse, McCall Plaza and The Amphitheater at Oak Pint Park. The Curtyard Theater is lcated near the Histric Dwntwn District f Plan, TX. Originally called the Cx Gymnasium, the structure was built in 1938 as part f the Wrks Prgress Administratin prject. It was cnverted int a theater space in 2001 and its design exemplifies the cultural and scial heritage f Plan. 4 Curtyard Theater TRUCK LOADING DOCK/STAGING AREA INFORMATION The Curtyard Theater, address is: 1509 H Avenue Plan TX, The lading dck is lcated ff f Ave G. Between 15 th St. and 16 th St. The truck dck is 22 high with a dr pening f 10 High x 7 7 Wide. The bay drs separating the stage frm the lading dck are High x 7-8 ½ Wide - N parking is permitted in the lading dck unless previusly arranged with the Prductin Crdinatr. - Dck drs will be clsed immediately upn cmpletin f pick-up r delivery. If extended perids f the drs being pen are required, Plan Stages persnnel must be ntified. - Reasnable and easy access pathways thrugh the dck are t be maintained at all times. - Furniture dllies and = hand trucks that belng t Plan Stages must be returned after use, unless previusly arranged with Plan Stages staff. Use is subject t availability. - Any trash r cnstructin debris in the lading dck and stage area is the respnsibility f the client and shuld be remved daily - including sawdust, metal shavings, fd and ther trash. 5 Curtyard Theater RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR PRODUCTION FACILITIES These rules are prvided fr Plan Stages user grups, which utilize any stage, backstage r related prductin areas. Additinal plicies and rules may be adpted and enfrced as necessary. The Presenter will nt permit smking in any theater r in cntrl rms at any time. Smking n stage is nly permitted as part f a perfrmance, and nly when management apprval and a valid fire permit have been btained in advance. Smking is permitted in designated areas nly. The huse pens n less than thirty (30) minutes prir t scheduled shw time. All set-up and sund checks must be cmpleted by this time. Plan Stages persnnel will assist the visiting cmpany in pening the huse n time. The management reserves the right t determine the maximum sund level fr any event in Plan Stages venues. All pre-prductin crdinatin between the visiting cmpany and Plan Stages will be crdinated by Plan Stages Management. The presenter will make every effrt t prvide all paperwrk regarding the technical needs f the event, a basic timeline and expectatins f the huse at least tw weeks prir t the scheduled date. The lessee shall fllw all fire cde regulatins regarding public perfrmances, including the use f flame resistant materials fr scenic r design purpses as well as keeping the area clear arund fire drs. Certificates f fire retardancy may be requested. Plan Stages staff must apprve any use f atmspheric effects (i.e. Smke, Haze, Fg, Cracked il). Plan Stages reserves the right t ban Cnfetti, rice and glitter frm the premises at any time. Additinal fees will be applied if nt adhered t. Seat kills fr prductin cntrl equipment must be apprved in advance by Plan Stages Management. Any damaged equipment must immediately be brught t the attentin f Plan Stages staff. Access t the huse tls is limited t members f the Plan Stages staff. It is the respnsibility f the presenter t bring all required tls fr the event. Plan Stages staff may lan tls at their discretin. The visiting cmpany will nt make hles; drive nails, tacks, stage screws r similar articles in any part f the premises withut apprval by Plan Stages Management. Any changes t huse rigging, lighting, audi r ther equipment must be apprved in advance by Plan Stages Management. Tying in pwer must be perfrmed by qualified persnnel and must be arranged in advance. All Access t catwalks & dimmer rms may be mnitred r apprved by Plan Stages staff. The use f man lifts, scissr lifts r frklifts t be perated by qualified persnnel. Plan Stages must be ntified if ht wrk is t take place a minimum f 48 hurs in advance f wrk being perfrmed. Plan Stages Page 5
