Cnnect equipment t rear r frnt Audi/Vide input jacks. 2. Select the crrespnding vide input by pressing W/VIDEO buttn. 3. Operate ptinal equipment as instructed in equipment manual. Nte: The S-VIDEO cnnectin prvides higher quality picture. It verndes ther VIDEO cnnectins. Use INPUT 1, AUDIO R and L with S-VIDEO cnnectin. Amplifier Cnnectin (TO AUDIO AMP) T listen thrugh a separate stere system, cnnect an external audi amplifier TO AUDIO AMP inputs n back f televisin. Audi Nte: Adjustments TO AUDIO AMP terminals cannt be cnnected directly t external speakers. 1. Select SPEAKERS ON lcated in the nscreen AUDIO menu. 2. Set amplifier vlume t minimum. 3. Adjust televisin vlume t desired level. 4. Adjust amplifier vlume t match the televisin. 5. Select SPEAKERS OFF & VARIABLE AUDIO OUT frm AUDIO menu. 6. Vlume, mute, bass, treble and balance are nw cntrlled thrugh the televisin. Prgram Out Cnnectin (PROG OUT) Nte: Select SPEAKERS OFF & FIXED AUDIO OUT t cntrl audi functins thrugh the external amplifier. 11 Picture in Picture (PIP) Operatin PICTURE IN PICTURE (PIP) OPERATION Basic PIP Operatin This televisin includes a tw-tuner Picture In Picture (PIP) feature. This allws yu t watch tw (2) live bradcasts at the same time with r withut an external vide surce such as a VCR, cable bx, etc. Prcedure Press the PIP buttn n the remte cntrl t display the PIP frame nscreen. Nte: The audi is frm the Main Picture nly. 1. Chse channels fr the PIP frame by pressing the remte cntrl PIP CHANNEL up/dwn buttns. 2.
