4 CONCERTS Villiers Quartet Radcliffe Chamber Music Residency November 2015 saw the launch of the new Radcliffe chamber music residency with the Villiers Quartet presented in association with Music at Oxford. Following a successful couple of concerts in the fabulous Holywell Music Room, the Villiers Quartet are back to Oxford with an evening concert based on composer friendships and a celebration of Sterndale Bennett in his anniversary year. Their lunchtime concert explores contemporary music with a performance of Mozart's Quartet in G Major, K. 387, and its subsequent transformation via the contemporary work Spectral Evidence by Jay Cloidts. The Villiers Quartet will also play music by outstanding American composer Andy Waggoner.
