It took a few minutes of hand cranking and sweat was starting to form on my brow when she finally primed and came to life. With a smile, I jumped in, advanced the timing lever, held the gear pedal halfway and released the parking brake. With an increase in the throttle lever I pressed in the gear pedal and I was off. Pulling onto 21 st street I let off on the gear pedal engaging hi likely hitting a blistering speed of maybe 20 MPH. I drove about a ½ block when a grade school kid yelled nice car and another yelled cool. In the 15 minute drive I got more than a dozen waves, thumbs up, people shouting what year? and even a few pictures taken from kids and adults. Lizzy is old and weathered but that day she was a star. With a full belly from the food Tom generously catered in, all were able to check out the projects in the shop and hear some interesting stories. It is obvious these guys are the real deal when it comes to restoration specialists for your Ford. We all need to thank Tom and the crew at Plammers for the fantastic treatment shown to the club. For April the MFD will meet Sunday April 22 nd at 5pm at Steve & Ginny McCallum s, 1157 West Ave B, Bismarck. This will be a potluck and Ginny will serve pulled pork. Bring a dish to share and your own drinks. On the agenda is voting on bylaw changes and nominations for officers. Voting on officers will be in May. Plans for the 2018 MFD Sponsor Calendar will also be discussed and or finalized. Calendar pictures this year will be of our vehicles with the sponsors business sign, building or other in the background. New member s vehicles will have preference. Last we will discuss T shirt orders with again new member s vehicles having preference. Sponsors Plammer s Custom Cars is a new MFD Gold Level sponsor. Burger King is no longer a club sponsor. Calendar We still have 2017 MFD calendars for sale. Patty will have them at the meeting Sunday if you would like some. If you cannot make it and would like some calendars contact Patty Owens

3 Tires Needed for Club Trailer Get Us Your Car Stories We need stories for the newsletter. Get us information on your rides. How did you got it, driving impressions, stories, restoration pictures, places you have been, shows you have been to, things to sell, things wanted, etc. The tires on the MFD trailer are in poor condition. We need two 8.75 R16.5 tires. The trailer has Ford 8 hole rims should you have some mounted. It has advertising brochures, service manuals, operator manuals, pictures and other information for hundreds of car models. New members Please welcome new members Bud & Betty Kuhn of Bismarck. They have a 2009 Mustang GT 45 th anniversary edition. They sure have a sharp looking ride.
