Of course, for the website to be useful evet orgaizers must provide iformatio i a timely maer; the free service depeds o their active cooperatio. First-time visitors to the website ca immediately see how practical it is. People with scietific backgrouds ofte have trouble explaiig thigs simply. hey ted to be stuck i school exam mode, where they feel the eed to describe cocepts i complex terms to prove to their professors who kow more tha they do that they kow their stuff. But if your focus is o provig yourself, the it s ot o iformig your audiece. So, how do you help them? I show them how to clearly explai the problem ad the solutio. I other words, what they are workig o ad above all why. Ad how to commuicate better orally, i writig, ad through visuals. Statig thigs simply does t mea dumbig thigs dow. Does it deped o the coutry? ypically, after I give a talk, most of the attedees are o board. But very few go as far as to actually use my approach.
