I m skeptical of any service that offers to help musicians make it so I didn t know what to expect. 90% of [the TAXI Road Rally] was the most focused, specific, high quality advice I ve ever seen distributed in a seminar format. I almost never come away from anything like this even remotely impressed, let alone enough to write an editor s letter about it. I now believe that for anyone who starts with a baseline of motivation and talent, a year in TAXI and one visit to the Road Rally will do more for you than ten NAMM shows worth of schmoozing Stephen Fortner, Editor, Keyboard Magazine You ve still got a week before this year s Road Rally kicks off in Los Angeles. I guess you could go to one of the other large scale music conferences like the one a friend of mine went to last week. It didn t have 88 Breakout Classes like the Road Rally. It didn t have a Mentor Luncheon like the Road Rally, and it only had two days of panels, not THREE DAYS of 17 Top Notch Panels like the Road Rally. It also didn t have FREE One to One Mentor Sessions like the Road Rally. And it didn t have two Open Mic Stages going for three consecutive nights either! What Did That Other Conference Cost? As much as $500 for just one ticket! What Does the Road Rally Cost? The Road Rally costs nothing. If you re already a TAXI member, you get TWO TICKETS for FREE!
