The staff and I are still wiped out, but it s a great feeling to be exhausted from something wonderful! And by all accounts, this year s Road Rally was truly something special. My staff deserves much of the credit for how well it ran, so take a bow! Everything from our Keynote Interview with legendary Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick, to the Demo to Done session with Rob Chiarelli, Ron Harris, and their incredibly talented team of musicians and techs who put that together, to the One-to-One Mentor Sessions, to the ninety-one Driver s Ed breakout classes, to the Mentor Lunches, to the six Open Mics, and all of the seventten Panels in the grand ballroom it all added up to one incredible weekend. Here are just a few of the comments that are starting to come in via and our forum: Do I have any complaints? Yes. There s just not enough time to do everything I wanted. One day there were three things I wanted to do at the same time! Will I be back in the future? Damn right I will. John Lewitt My wife and I were SO blown away by our first TAXI Road Rally! What impressed us the most, beyond the amazing musical opportunities, inspirational expertise, and knowledge offered was the genuine heartfelt humanity of the whole experience. We immediately felt comfortable performing at the open mics, and spoke freely to many helpful mentors, who were only too happy to share their insights into our music. The Sunday morning From Demo To Done [panel] was thrilling! We're back in New York City, and yes, we're tired... but happy! Can't wait till next year. Ed and Carol Nicodemi Thousands of dollars worth of great education for free. And a great community as well! Thank you Michael and staff!! Joshua Coleman I got to meet my 2nd family in person. Now I feel like I'm part of the music industry. Michael, what an amazing organization you have put together here. It brought so many concepts into crystal clear focus. Even my wife loved it! Jerry Brunkala My first Rally was inspiring. To say it s life changing is NOT hyperbole... it s true. Tim Walter This was my first Road Rally and I can't believe I even considered making the mistake of not attending. The classes were super helpful (I have a notebook with pages and pages of notes to incorporate into my craft until next rally) and all the members, mentors, volunteers and guests were super friendly and great to meet.
