Mney was bught in frm FAST seats during Pippin($15 seats sld fr all 3 perfrmances) We received $3,650 check frm seat yurself. Discussed pssibly raising ticket price., but Schl Bard wants seats t stay at $5 ($ ges t bard f educatin) t make the event affrdable fr the cmmunity. Vice President-Christine Vice-President Reprt: The Silent Auctin tk place during the "Pippin" perfrmances n Oct Much thanks t ur Silent Auctin cmmittee members: Patrice Dnfri, Sara Gurley, Dagny Pwer, Deb Lgan, Susie Erdal and Lrelei Andersn wh spent hurs sliciting merchants, attending planning meetings, wrking the auctin, setting and cleaning up frm the auctin. We als want t thank the many vlunteers and FAST members wh helped us by wrking at the auctin. Thanks t Dustin and Kelly Brsi wh helped us n the ffice and rganizing end at LHS. We appreciate everyne's help tremendusly. This fund raiser is a majr undertaking and has grwn tremendusly ver the years. We raised $3,616 in sales fr the auctin. We wuld've raised mre but 5 packages did nt sell including: Tanya Tucker 2 tickets fr 11/16 - yes, this Friday Orninc - 1 mnth membership

2 (2) Schl f Rck - 1 mnth f private lessns Enchanted Castle - Family Fun pack wrth $123 Cmedy Sprtz - 2 tickets + 1 imprv class Fit Bit Charge HR (went with Orinc) Plus sme restaurant certificates which can be used next year r fr future event. If cmmittee members wuld like t purchase any f the abve items in exchange fr a small FAST dnatin, please talk t Christine. We are grateful fr all the cntributins and dnatins by merchants, fine arts families, and much mre. We wuld nt have been successful withut everyne's genersity. We did nt have any dnatins frm the art students r the art staff. In past, art items were included with sme f the packages which made the auctin tables lk nicer. One ptin fr the future is a fund raiser with Pizzeria DeVille. This can perhaps take place in spring with sme rganizing that may bring in additinal funds. 3 IL Attrney General paperwrk was sent n 10/3/18 (due 12/31/18). This cmpletes the paperwrk fr last year. All submissins have been scanned in and put n the Ggle Drive. I feel like this shuld be the jb f the persn that was the treasurer fr that year. S in years when the treasurer psitin turns ver, the utging treasurer shuld be respnsible t d the paperwrk fr their year. It can all be dne in July and maybe the new treasurer culd watch and learn. The Treasurer s respnsibilities will have t be amended t add this. IRS address change has been dne FAST des nt need a new tax exempt letter. Use the ne n the Ggle Drive. Please include the tatts in yur sales when yu sell stickers 2 fr $1.00. I am seeing cnfusin n the Expense frms There are tw different frms. Expense Reimbursement Frm when the check shuld be written t YOU t reimburse yu fr smething fr which yu paid. Expense Payable Frm - when the check shuld be written t a vendr directly. Please include the vendr name and cmplete address f where t send the check. Bth frms need t have the name f the Budget line item where the expense ges. The Nvember Financial Summary is attached and n Ggle Drive under Treasurer Dcs/Nv2018. I will be ut f the cuntry frm 11/23 12/7 and s if yu have any FAST treasurer needs during that time, please cntact Deb Lgan. She will have the checkbk and an extra cash bx. We discussed when t use the expense reimbursement frm (when FAST member already purchased items) versus the expense payable frm(when FAST member needs a check in advance t pay a vendr). **UPDATE-Beth has cmbined the tw previus frms fr expenses int ne t fix any cnfusin. It s up n the FAST ggle drive called Expense Payment Request Frm. FAST cmmittee members can get all FAST frms frm Ggle Drive-Deb ffered t help get cmmittee members n ggle dcs after meeting.

4 Staff Rep.- Dustin Busy Fall-lts cming up after Thanksgiving! Diane Shrt brught up Writers Week request frm Parent Cats meeting. A parent at Parent Cats meeting asked if FAST might cnsider dnating twards the music /theatre presenter that week. Shannn suggested keeping ur fcus n master classes fr the Fine Arts students since that s the missin f ur rganizatin. If parents wuld like t individually dnate t Writers Week, they can d s n the LHS website(webstre under English Department). Cmmittee reprts: Art-DeLynn Pp up Art Shw Nvember 30 th 7:00AM-12:00OM will highlight hands n demnstratins. Fall Art Students can shwcase sme f their wrk they created this fall. Hliday Art Sale-December 11 th (same day as band cncert). Band- Sara/Diane Nvember 1 st Receptin after feeder band festival cncert was a success. Thank yu t the 50+ parents wh helped wrk the event and dnated!! Psters featuring the ILMEA Selectees are displayed in varius shps in dwntwn Libertyville. We began the E-scrip fundraiser thrugh scripzne.cm. This can benefit all fine arts kids because parents and ther family members can purchase gift cards fr stres and restaurants (even htels) that they wuld frequent nrmally. A percentage f each purchase ges back t the student's Fine Arts travel accunt. Please see Sara Gurley at LHSMusicScrip@gmail.cm with questins. Cnsider purchasing gift cards t places yu wuld nrmally g! Sara will create fliers abut this fr upcming events. The Milwaukee Music Festival is cming up in mid-nvember. An auditined, selective festival hsted by UWM will feature tp students frm area schls. This year the festival welcmes Frank Ticheli, the mst frequently perfrmed American cmpser since Susa. The 15 LHS students selected will wrk with him n Friday and Saturday, 11/ The LHS Jazz Cmb is playing at the Libertyville Tree-Lighting n 11/23.

5 Other upcming dates: Friday, 12/7: Evening f Jazz at St. Lawrence Church in dwntwn Libertyville (7:30), free will dnatin. A 3 Jazz ensembles will play. Tuesday, 12/11: Hliday Band Cncert at LHS Auditrium (7:30), n charge fr tickets but cat paws and candy cane grams will be sld Chir-Patrice/Terri Hliday Music Fest - Dec 5:00 PM and Dec 7:30 PM - bth cncerts are free and pen t the public. FAST will be selling candy cane grams fr $1, tatts and pawprint decals. Cncessins & Flwers- Deb/Dinne Prfits fr musical cncessins $1,006 Prfits fr flwers $ single rses sld fr $3/each. 8 flral buquets were rdered in advance. Flwers desn t bring in a lt f mney, but FAST ffers it as a service t ur guests. Orchestra-Tina Fr Spkygrams fundraiser: We sld 10 Paw print stickers fr $3 each - $30 We sld Spkygrams 98 fr $1 each - $98 Tina will nt be expensing anything fr this event. The next rchestra event will be the Orchestra Festival n Nvember 29th 7:30pm. The guest cnductr is Becca Oppenheim, frmerly rchestra directr at Maine Suth HS. She will be cnducting the cmbined Silver Strings (6th grade) and Cncert Orchestras (freshmen), the cmbined Highland Strings (7-8th grade) and Symphny and Chamber Orchestras, the Silver Strings separately, and the Highland Strings separately. 6 Tina might sell pawprints at the event, depending n hw many vlunteers she gets. She will be preparing small treats fr the kids as well. We will have a SignUp Spt fr parents t vlunteer t wrk r bake at the receptin(christine will create it) Dustin is crdinating with the Fencing Advisr re: cafeteria practices affecting rchestra festival receptin/pssibly ther music festivals and making accmmdatins accrdingly. Orchesis-Kerrie Auditins were held Nvember 4 th and 5 th -earlier this year than usual due t auditrium space. 45 dancers in cmpany. Practices will start in February; perfrmance will be in May. Kerrie gave a fllw up n the dance Master Class discussed at the Octber meeting. Ttal fr the class is $1,500 but asked FAST fr $500(1/3). The Master class is a wnderful pprtunity fr the dancers, that includes 14 ttal hurs f rehearsal. Publicity-Lri *Please send phts (IMEA, Pippin, etc.!) fr Facebk!!
