In cnnectin with Jhannes Jhanssn sudden death, Eirik Birkeland started the meeting with sme cmmemrative wrds abut him and his imprtance fr Nrdic and Eurpean higher music educatin. After this the participants had ne minute silence. Jhan Falk, infrmed then abut the incident and the new situatin at the Ryal Cllege f Music in Stckhlm. After a presentatin f the participants, Rectr Zbignevas Ibelgauptas, Lithuanian Academy f Music and Theatre, was particularly welcmed as a new member in the ANMA Ex.Cm. grup Cmments t the agenda: E. Birkeland suggested t include the first item n the ANMA Ex.Cm agenda in the jint meeting with the Nrdplus grup. Tpic: Innvatin and entrepreneurship.

2 He als suggested that item 4, the fllw up f the apprved ANMA strategy was included in the jint agenda. The suggestins were apprved. N items were presented under Any ther business. 1. Infrmatin abut the NORDPLUS netwrks activities 2010/ Results f the netwrk applicatins fr the academic year 2012/ Specificatin f Academic/Artistic pririties, expressed in the ANMA strategy, fr the Nrdplus applicatins 2013/2014 The 3 first items were included and discussed as a whle. Reprts frm 3 f the netwrks fr 2010/11 had been distributed with the agenda.shrt verbal reprts were given frm the Nrdpuls, Nrdpera and the Sibelius netwrks. Related t the ERASMUS prgram the pssibility fr express mbility (shrter mbility, minimum 5 days) was mentined as a psitive actin t create mre student mbility between the institutins. The funding fr the 3 netwrks (NORDTRAD had nt sent the needed infrmatin) fr 2012/2013 was presented. The 3 netwrks have received Eur in funding. The Nrdplus prgram funds up till 50 % f the apprved activity. The ANMA institutins cntribute therefre with quite a lt f mney t carry ut the NORDPLUS activities. It can therefre be an idea t present sme f the activities n the ANMA meeting in The Nrdic Cuncil f Ministers has pririties fr the cultural/educatinal cllabratin. Can ANMA cnnect t these pririties and give signals t the Nrdplus netwrks hw t translate these pririties int relevant prjects within higher music educatin? Jhan Falk will present the priritized areas. There is a wish t lk int the different NORDPLUS activities t map which institutins are active in the netwrks. Jint Study Prgrams (JPS) tie up mbility grants. This can, if the netwrks establish several JSP, result in less free mbility. Cnnect the ANMA and NORDPLUS mailing list when relevant infrmatin fr bth rectrs and internatinal relatins crdinatrs are sent ut. Nrplus prjects need the supprt frm the institutinal leadership and the rectrs shuld therefre be infrmed abut initiatives and plans fr them t fllw up.

3 ANMA shuld wrk bth twards the institutins and the plicy makers in the Nrdic Cuncil f Ministers/CIMO. Twards the plicy makers t investigate criteria that are emphasized when decisins n jint activities are made Jhan Falk will try t find ut persns t cntact. The Cred states that ANMA encurages its member institutins t play a practive part in develpment f music culture and sciety within the Nrdic and Baltic cuntries. ANMA wants t encurage the member institutins by distributing the recmmendatins fcus areas - frm the Strategic Plan The Secretary General will send a letter t all member institutins, including bth rectrs/deans and IRC, in the end f August, inviting them t cncretize the general fcus areas int practical activities like Intensive prjects, Jint Study Prgrams, Curriculum Develpment, etc. The fcus areas are: Musician in sciety (new cmpetences creative musicians make a difference in sciety enhancing innvative skills entrepreneurial skills). Artistic develpment wrk and artistic research, related t students n the Bachelr-Master level Artistic and pedaggical develpment f study prgrams (fr example: new technlgy - relevance) 4. Infrmatin abut NOAS, Nrdic Online Applicatin System. Bjørn Einar Halvrsen, the Grieg Academy, presented a status reprt regarding the Nrdic Online Applicatin System. The system will be presented fr the NORDPLUS IRC at the meeting in Stavanger Octber It will be pen fr regular use frm 1.Feburary 2013, Mbility applicatins fr the academic year 2013/2014 within the Nrdplus prgram will be handled thrugh the NOAS system. Eirik Birkeland invited Bjørn Einar Halvrsen t present the system at the ANMA meeting in Oulu 1-2 Octber. 5. The agenda fr the ANMA meeting in Oulu 1-2 Octber 2012 Suggested tpic: Innvatin and entrepreneurship. Fllw-up f the apprved ANMA strategy, distributin f tasks It was decided that an verview f the Nrdplus cllabratin shuld be elabrated. 5 Eirik Birkeland infrmed abut a meeting in ON 13.April in Kristiansand. The rchestra has ecnmic challenges, but Kristiansand will hst the rchestra als in Frm 2013 Aalbrg, Denmark, will hst the rchestra. A grup frm the symphny rchestra and the cnservatry will supprt the rchestra with help frm private funding. It is unclear wh has an wnership t the rchestra. S far ANMA will participate and have a vice int the rganizatin. Hwever, depending n the rchestra s cnnectin t higher music educatin and artistic level, ANMA will have t discuss its wn cnnectin t ON. There was suggested a change in the rules that Applicants shuld be enrlled at an ANMA institutin. When the rchestra mves t Aalbrg changes will take place. There was an interest in the Ex-Cm t cmbine the annual meeting with the cnference. A letter will be sent t the member institutins cncerning a suggestin f changing the time fr the annual meeting 2013 and the reasn fr this. Letter attached t the minutes. 7. Questin abut membership in ANMA frm Stckhlm University Cllege f Music Educatin. Stckhlm University Cllege f Music Educatin must send an applicatin t ANMA with a descriptin f the institutin, histry, structure, educatin prgrams and curricula befre the 15 th September 2012 if the applicatin shuld be handled at the annual meeting in Oulu. 8.
