He received his Masters Degree in Trumpet Perormance rom Illinois State niversity where in addition to playing in the Faculty Brass Quintet, he was also the Graduate Assistant and Assistant Conductor in the IS Band Department. He has done additional postgraduate work at Northern Illinois niversity (Supervisory Endorsement) and Vandercook College o Music. He is a memer o several proessional organizations, including the International Trumpet Guild, Illinois Music Educators Association, MENC and the American Society o Composers, Authors and Pulishers. He was a inalist or Kane County (IL) Educator o the Year where he received the Distinguished Educator Award. He also received an Award o Recognition rom the Illinois State Board o Education as part o their "Those Who Excel" program. Recognized as one o the oremost achievers in his ield, Mr. Kaisershot has een included in numerous editions o Marquis Who s Who in America as well as many ormer students nominating him or Who s Who o America s Teachers. As a conductor and clinician, Mr. Kaisershot has ecome well traveled throughout the Midwest. Internationally recognized as a composer/arranger, especially o music or trumpet and rass in general, his music has achieved critical acclaim. His music has een perormed not only in the nited States, ut also in several other countries including apan, Korea, Canada, Mexico, Denmark, Switzerland, England, Norway and Germany. His and, orchestra and solo/ensemle compositions are presently on several state contest lists including Ohio, Wisconsin and Texas. He has won several awards or his and compositions, including the distinction that his march entitled Spectre o Fortune was adopted y the State o Massachusetts Lion s Clu Organizations as their oicial march. Most recently he won the ASCAP/MENC composition competition wherein his march entry was selected as "The Music Teachers March." Since 99 he has een a yearly recipient o the annual ASCAP standard awards or his contriutions to the advancement o American/Educational music.
