In-Text Citatins Fr in-text citatin MLA uses the authr-page style which is briefly described belw. The use f extensive ftntes r endntes is nt encuraged. They may be used fr either bibligraphic ntes which refer t ther wrks r fr explanatry purpses that are t digressive fr the main text. One Authr MLA uses parenthetical citatin fr utside surces. The page number must appear in parenthetical citatin whereas the authr s name may either appear in parentheses r in the sentence itself.
