13 Step 3 : Basic hkups Befre yu get started Be sure t discnnect the AC pwer crd f each cmpnent befre cnnecting. Turn ffthe pwer t all equipment. D nt cnnect the AC pwer crds until all f the cnnectins are cmpleted. If yu cnnect the AC pwer crd befre the cnnectins are cmpleted, yu may nt be able t use the Plug and Play functin. Selecting the best hkup ptin There are many ways in which yur DVD-VCR can be hked up. T hk tip yur DVD-VCR s that it wrks best fr yu, first scan thrugh the table belw. Then use the accmpanying diagrams and prcedures n the fllwing pages t set up yur DVD-VCR. If yur TV has audi/vkte inputs, refer t page 14 %r audi/vide (A/V) hkup. Then fllw ne f the hkups belw. Then, just enter the PlusCde number f the prgram yu want and the VCR is autmatically prgrammed t recrd that shw. It's that simple.
