1 Page 1 f 7 Pacific Pride Cntrller Operatr Instructins Step 1 When yu receive a call frm the installer t clse and pull the transactins frm the current equipment: A. Frm the Main Menu, select #2, Cmmunicatins with PetrVend &Tank Mnitr. B. Select #5, Call Remte Site Using BLAST t Issue Cmmands. C. Type F t Find. D. Enter the Pacific Pride Site Cde. The screen will display the PV Passwrd. E. Type C t call Site. Wait fr the mdem t answer. Once cnnected, yu will see the message cnnectin established ready t accept cmmands. While hlding CTRL, type Y + 1 and yu shuld receive a > prmpt. G. Type Hell, fllwed by the passwrd displayed n the previus screen. H. A P> prmpt will be displayed. At the prmpt, type Clse. Type SH SYS t display the current status and it shuld indicate system ff (next t the date and time field). Type Bye and push CTRL+K, CTRL+K t hang up. K. Type E t end prgram. The installer shuld nw be able t cnfirm that all pumps are finished dispensing fuel. L. Select Item #2, Pull PV Transactin frm yur Sites. M. Type C t cntinue. N. Type S fr Single Site. O. Type N fr Netwrk. P. Enter yur Hst number. Q. Enter the Site Cde. R. Type N fr Diagnstic Run. S. Type N fr Frce Memry Reset. T. Type C t cntinue.

2 Page 2 f 7 U. When finished, the menu will return. Type 99 t return t the Main Menu. V. Select #1, Daily Prcessing Menu. W. Select #8 t Edit Transactins, and type C t cntinue. NOTE: The screen will display transactins up t the current date and time. X. Select #9 t Pst Transactins and type C t cntinue. Y. Select #6 t Print Cmmunicatins Lg, and type C t cntinue. Z. Type 99 t return t the Main Menu. Step 2 The Cntrller Operatr will then update the Site File. A. Frm the Main Menu, select #3, Master File Maintenance. B. Select #2, Site File Maintenance. C. Type F t Find and enter the Pacific Pride Site Cde. NOTE: The current cnfiguratin will cme int view. D. Change Field #2, Pull Type, Sub, Sftd, MPD. This is a fur-field entry. Enter 1 and push the Enter key If there is a B in the secnd field, hit the space key t leave the field blank Type a 1 in the third field Type an N in the furth field. 3 Page 3 f 7 E. Change Field #3, PV Passwrd t the agreed upn new passwrd (the default passwrd is Hell01 which is case sensitive). Change Field #6, Baud Rate if the installer has indicated that it shuld be changed. G. Change Field #8 frm a 1 t a 0 nly If the installer has indicated that the WTI/Prter Bx will be remved. NOTE: D nt change this field if the WTI/Prter Bx is t remain. H. Change Field #10, the Phne Number if the installer has indicated that the phne number has changed. Enter the new phne number. Change Field #15, Trendar Installed t an N. If all the abve is crrect, enter E t End Mdify and E t End the Prgram. K. Type 99 t return t the Main Menu. Step 3 The Cntrller Operatr will update the Prduct/Pump Assignment File. This step is intended t ensure the pumps and prducts fr the site match between the FSC3000 and the PP cntrller. A. Frm the Main Menu select #3, Master File Maintenance. B. Select #3 Prduct Pump Assignment frm the Master File Maintenance & Listing menu. C. Type F t Find and enter yur Lcal Hst Number. D. Enter yur Site Number and Site Type. E. Type N fr Netwrk and push the Enter key t get the Pump Number Push the Enter key t get the Categry. The screen will display the detail fr the first pump assigned t that lcatin. G. Select C t Change. Yu will be prmpted fr the Field # t Change. That will be 7, Price Table Psitin. Enter the Price Table Psitin Number fund in the same rw as the NACS number that is recrded n the site survey frm fr the pump psitin. 5 Page 5 f 7 H. Type N fr Next Recrd and cntinue with each pump in use at the site. There may be multiple recrds fr the same pump if the pump is a MPD (Multiple Pump Dispenser). If the recrd displayed is n lnger used, select D t delete the recrd. Remve any recrds that d nt match FSC3000 and the survey frm. When the last pump is displayed, select E t End Mdify and E t End Prgram. Select menu #53 t print the Prduct Pump Assignment. K. Type C t cntinue. L. Enter the Lcal Hst Number. M. Enter the Site Cde. N. Type N fr Netwrk. O. Type C t cntinue. NOTE: A reprt will print listing all the pump/prduct cnfiguratins fr the dispensers at the site. Review them t ensure they are accurate, match the site survey and match what was entered in the FSC3000 at the site. P. Type 99 t return t the Main Menu. Step 4 Send Multi-Truck Pricing t the Site. A. Frm the Main Menu, select #12, SmartLck & Multi-Trucking Card Pricing. B. Select #7 t Update Prices fr FSC3000 and C t cntinue. C. Select #10 t Send ISO Prices t FSC3000. D. Type C t cntinue. E. Type S fr Single Site. Type N fr Netwrk. G. Enter the Hst Number. H. Enter the site cde f the Site t Prcess. Type N fr Diagnstic. Type C t cntinue. NOTE: The cntrller shuld call the lcatin and send a price table. If successful, infrm the installer that the price table was successfully sent. If unsuccessful, infrm the installer that the cntrller was unable t dwnlad the file. Trubleshting is then required. Wrk with the installer t ensure the FSC3000 is prperly installed and try again. Verify the items listed belw. The Site ID was prgrammed crrectly in the FSC t match the Pacific Pride Cntrller. The Passwrd matches between the FSC and the Pacific Pride Cntrller. Prduct/Pump Assignments including Price Table Psitin match between the FSC and the Pacific Pride Cntrller. The phne number in the Pacific Pride Cntrller matches the number f the telephne plugged int the mdem. Make sure that the Pull Type in the Site File is crrect.

6 Page 6 f 7 If the Prter/WTI bx was left in place did the baud rate change? If the baud rate was changed des it match the Pacific Pride Cntrller baud rate? Step 5 Pull Site After Test Transactins are cmpleted t cnfirm the ability t Pull. A. Frm the Main Menu select #2 Cmmunicatins with PetrVend. B. Select #2, Pull Transactins frm Yur Site. C. Type C t cntinue. D. Type S fr Single Site. E. Type N fr Netwrk. Enter the Site Cde. G. Type N fr Diagnstic Run. H. Type N fr Frce Memry Reset. Type C t cntinue. Type 99 t return t the Main Menu. Step 6 Run an Edit List t cnfirm that the pumps/prducts and gallns recrded are crrect. A. Frm the Main Menu, select #1 Daily Prcessing Menu. B. Select #8 t Edit Transactins, and type C t cntinue. NOTE: Review the transactins t make sure there are n errrs and that gallnage (ttal gallns and prducts dispensed) are crrect. If the transactins are crrect, Select #9 t Pst Transactins. If the transactins, gallns and r prducts are nt crrect cntact the site t verify the Prduct/Pump Assignments, including Price Table Psitin, match between the FSC and the Pacific Pride Cntrller. Transactins that are incrrect shuld be crrected befre psting. C. Once all transactins have been psted, select #6 t print the Cmmunicatins Lg. This lg will shw that yu successfully pulled the site and received a 65 message that memry has been reset at the site. D. Type 99 t return t the Main Menu.

7 Page 7 f 7 Step 7 Trubleshting items t check if the cntrller is unable t cmmunicate with the FSC3000 r pull transactins. Was the Site ID prgrammed crrectly in the FSC t match the Pacific Pride Cntrller? D the passwrd match between the FSC and the Pacific Pride Cntrller? D the Prduct/Pump Assignments (including Price Table Psitin) match between the FSC and the Pacific Pride Cntrller? Des the phne number in the Pacific Pride Cntrller match the phne number that is plugged int the mdem? Check t make sure that the Pull Type in the Site File is crrect. If the Prter/WTI bx was left in place did the baud rate change? If the baud rate was changed des it match the Pacific Pride Cntrller baud rate? Trans Header Nt Fund is displayed while pulling transactins means the fields included in the FSC3000 transactin recrd d nt align with what Pacific Pride expects. The installer needs t crrect the transactin frmat.
