3 1. General 1.1 Abou his guide The purpose of his manual is o describe he operaion and configuraion of KNX devices using ETS sofware or Easy ool sofware. I consiss of 4 pars: - General informaion. - The parameers and KNX objecs available. - The Easy ool configuraions are available. - Technical characerisics. 1.2 Abou he program ETS ETS compaibiliy The applicaion programs are compaible wih ETS4 and ETS5. They can be downloaded from our websie under he order number. 5 2.1.2 Connecion - TXA662AN - TXA664AN Noe: he min and max seings are used o se he lowes and highes lighing levels for he oupus. These seings are achieved by soring he curren oupu values hrough a long press on he relevan buons nex o he oupu on he fron of he device Physical addressing In order o perform he physical addressing or o check wheher or no he bus is conneced, press he lighed push buon (see chaper for he buon locaion). Ligh on = bus conneced and ready for physical addressing. Programming mode is acivaed, unil he physical address is ransferred from ETS. Pressing he buon again, exis programming mode. The mos imporan funcions are: ON/OFF An oupu can be swiched on or off using he ON/OFF funcion. The command can come from swiches, buons or oher conrol inpus. TXA662AN - TXA664AN 6 6LE004012A

7 Relaive or absolue dimming (Brighness value) Wih relaive dimming, he brighness value is raised or lowered wih respec o he curren brighness value. This is achieved, for example, by a long press on a sensor buon. Wih absolue dimming, he brighness value o be achieved is se on he dimmer as a % value. Timer The Timer funcion can swich a lighing circui on or off for a configurable period. The oupu can be swiched o a desired brighness level for a specified period. The imer may be inerruped before expiry of he delay ime. A programmable Cu-OFF pre-warning announces he end of he delay ime by halving he presen brighness value of he oupu. Prioriy The Prioriy funcion is used o force he oupu ino a defined sae. The Prioriy funcion is conrolled wih a 2-bi command. Prioriy: Prioriy > Basic funcion. Only a Prioriy OFF command auhorizes he oupu for conrol. Applicaion: Keeping lighing on for securiy reasons. Auomaic conrol The Auomaion funcionaliy allows commanding an oupu a he same ime as he ON/OFF funcionaliy or lighing value. The wo funcions have he same level of prioriy. The las command received will ac on he saus of he oupu. An addiional command objec is used o acivae or deacivae he Auomaic conrol. Scene The Scene funcion is used o swich groups of oupus ino a configurable predefined sae. A scene is acivaed by receip of a 1-bye command. Each oupu can be included in 64 differen scenes. Oupu combinaion Differen combinaions of channels can be used for more powerful load variaions. The device auomaically runs a wiring recogniion es corresponding o one of he auhorised combinaions. Afer he ETS download, he device will auomaically run a wiring recogniion es o check he consisency beween he acual cable and he parameers given in ETS. Manual mode Manual mode allows he device o be disconneced from he bus. In his mode, each oupu can be prioriy conrolled locally. 9 3. Programming by ETS The funcion of he differen devices only differs in he number of oupus. For his reason, only one device or one oupu will ever be described. 3.1 Parameers Fixed parameers The fixed parameers define he operaing mode of he oupu relays.
