3 3 f 10 FESTIVAL GUIDELINES/RULES fr VOICE, MUSICAL THEATRE & TALENT SHOWCASES Students are encuraged t dress apprpriately with age apprpriate attire and sng chices fr their cmpetitin r evaluatin. All perfrmance music must be memrized. Vice plus any instrument may be used fr accmpaniment purpse nly. Perfrmers must prvide their wn accmpanist if using an accmpanist. A pian will be prvided in each ballrm fr an accmpanist by a MAMTG vendr/spnsr. MAMTG may prvide a sund system including a micrphne - hand-held r headset. Perfrmers, parents and music teachers are nt allwed t perate any equipment, make requests, suggestins r interfere with MAMTG's sund technician r Rm Captains. Audi accmpaniment r recrded tracks are permitted. Smart phnes, tablets and MP3/4 players are allwed, students are t bring/prvide their wn audi cables fr cnnectivity t the audi system(s). It is the respnsibility f each student/perfrmer t make sure their prps are cleared after their perfrmance. Prps & Cstumes may be factred int the verall scring and may even hurt the perfrmance with t many distractins. Human prps are nt allwed. Prps left behind r unattended may be discarded r lst. The fcus f each vcal perfrmance is based n the participants vcal ability, stage presence and delivery, nt n the use f extraneus bjects during the perfrmance. Prps that can create a mess with debris are nt allwed. Any damage(s) t the venue by prps is at the sle respnsibility f the student/parent/member schl, nt MAMTG.
